Haven’t posted in awhile. December has been a cray-cray month. The bricks are up, the back deck is up, and the (unfinished) banister is in. The dream of moving in before Christmas is gone. Our next door neighbors needed to move out of their leased space, so their side was prioritized. Which is fine because it gives me time to figure out the logistics of finishing the floors and the banister and get it done before we move our stuff in.
I’m a little disappointed with the colour of the vinyl siding. I thought it was “stratus gray” but it’s more like a gray-BEIGE. I hate beige. Even the brick is a bit funny for me, the mottled colouring feels like a carnival, and not as austere as I had wanted it. BUT it’s ALL GOOD!
